LL.M.-Studiengänge in Großbritannien und Irland

Dr.jur. (Promotion) & LL.M.

Großbritannien und Irland verfügen über mehrere international renommierte rechtswissenschaftliche Fakultäten (z.B. Cambridge). Großbritannien und Irland  können gegenüber einem LL.M.-Studium in den USA viele Vorteile aufweisen. Einerseits ist das Studium nicht mit hohen Reisekosten verbunden und eventuell anfallende Umzugskosten fallen deutlich geringer aus. Schließlich muss nicht der halbe Hausstand um die halbe Welt transportiert werden. Trotz dieser Vorzüge ist ein LL.M.-Studium natürlich auch in Großbritannien und Irland nicht gerade günstig. Allerdings sollte man auch nicht außer Acht lassen, dass ein Studium im englischsprachigen Ausland einen höheren Lerneffekt hinsichtlich der Sprachkenntnisse nach sich zieht. Großbritannien und Irland bieten somit eine ausgewogene Alternative zwischen einem teuren USA-Studium und einem Aufenthalt in einem nicht-englischsprachigen Land.
